American Pauly Kostora, iUnderground correspondent and Adventure Man in his own right, left the United States to see what was doing in Haiti a few weeks after that country’s devastating earthquake.

The 25-year-old has worked as a nurse and photojournalist. As of March 13, he’s helping in the relief effort somewhere near the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince. See it here…

The Society of Professional Journalists applauds the efforts of all journalists in Haiti who are working tirelessly to report the aftermath of last week’s devastating earthquake and the ensuing aftershocks. However, SPJ cautions journalists to avoid making themselves part of the stories they are reporting. Even in crises, journalists have a responsibility to their audiences to gather news objectively and to report facts. Read more at PoynterOnline.

Anderson Cooper was in Haiti doing a segment on the aftermath of the earthquake, when he saw a bloodied young boy who was stuck in the head by looters throwing rocks.
Cooper ran to the boy’s aid and carried him to safety. See the video here:

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs called Rush Limbaugh’s comments on Haiti “Really Stupid”

Now, Gibbs is right! But the mainstream media is just as moronic for giving a foul-mouthed Entertainment “Shock-Jock” as much press-credibilty as the White House secretary.
Nothing could be dumber then the Daily News’ failure to put their press-resources to more effective use then publishing garbage like this.
