<p>Steve Ainsley <a href="http://boston.bizjournals.com/boston/stories/2010/01/11/daily48.html?ana=yfcpc">is a lucky man</a>.<br />
The New York Times Co. reported that  retired Boston Globe publisher P. Steven Ainsley stands to receive &#8220;roughly $1.4 million in payments&#8221; in addition to stock compensation as part of his Dec. 31 separation from the company.  On top of this, he&#8217;s already recieved $2.7 million in retirement benefits through February 2009, according to regulatory filings.</p>
