Fox News, and the myth of “Fair and Balanced” shattered with it’s GOP $1 Million Donation
Fox News should expect an uproar from their viewers who were falsely led to believe that their network is “Fair and Balanced”. Why the FCC has allowed an entertainment company (masquerading as a “News Outlet”), to utilize such false advertising in their moniker is not only a sign of corporate money over-ruling objectivity, but a troubling sign that the FCC isn’t interested in protecting broadcast journalistic objectivity in the United States. A fundamental right to Democracy, basically.

“The Democratic National Committee called into question Fox News’ objectivity Tuesday after it was reported that the cable network’s parent company – News Corporation – recently donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association.
“‘Fair and Balanced’ has been rendered utterly meaningless,” Hari Sevugan, the DNC’s national press secretary, said in a statement. “Any pretense that may have existed about the ties between Fox News and the Republican Party has been ripped violently away.
