The San Diego Union-Tribune announced recently that Jeff Light, formerly with the Orange County Register, has been hired as the newspaper’s new vice president and editor. “I’m really excited that we’ve been able to hire Jeff to come on board,” U-T President and Publisher Ed Moss told staffers in the paper’s newsroom Thursday afternoon.
